About the Event

COVID-19 has thrown most of the world population into turmoil on every front, but it may be opening up new opportunities for professional growth and change. Now is the time to refine your skills, reconsider your goals and techniques for outreach. If you are determined to stay relevant, build your skills and grow your network in 2021, you are invited to join Executive Coach Cori Ashworth for a free virtual session. Following this January meeting, you will be invited to register for a Career Development Group that will meet over the next four months, beginning the week of February 8th. Enrollment is limited. Participants will be placed in one of three small groups, based on career development stage (career changers, midcareer professionals, and early career professionals). These groups will be up to 12 participants and will meet every other week for about 1 ¼ hours. Each group member will be asked to actively participate and complete work for each meeting to enable them to move forward effectively. Cori will facilitate and provide new information to assist in making changes in your career work. To meet the needs of The Seven Sisters Alumnae Association, a heavily discounted rate will be offered to any alumnae of the 7 Seven Sister institutions at this time. Participants will benefit from small group coaching, including: - Considering what is happening in the world of work. - Discussing current best practices in a shifting world of work. - Identifying developing industries, jobs and skills for investigation. - Guidelines on modifying your research, marketing and materials. - Sharing ideas and resources, empowering and encouraging one another.
